Balouga is a gallery of designer and vintage furniture for children in Paris run by Veronique Cota. This mother of three boys is passionate about furniture for children; in her boutique, wooden chairs mingle with plastic seats from the 70s pop era, all of them suspended from the ceiling - on the floor, you’ll find retro toys, and little vintage desks. For their first collection, Balouga has commissioned a designer, Mahmoud Akram, to produce the collection. This well-established artist’s talents lie in the field of fashion and interior design, with two guiding principles: volume and light. The Kazam desk is a result of this collaboration.
