For their first collection, Balouga has commissioned to designers including Mahmoud Akram, to produce the collection. This well-established artist’s talents lie in the field of fashion and interior design, with two guiding principles: volume and light. The Kazam desk is a result of this collaboration.
Three times nicer
This clever desk will grow with your child; it can be adjusted to 3 different heights (30cm, 48cm and 72cm) by moving the top and two feet. You won’t need to add any other part, it’s only the position of the top and the feet that determines the size of the desk.
- The first height is for a baby sitting on the floor,
- The second for a child of 3 years and,
- The third is suitable for a child from 6 years up to adolescence.
Ultra practical, the Kazam desk and its simple pure design allows the child to have a large space for play or for work; in fact, the two shapes (one a V, the other an E) can be fitted on to the desk in different places. On the V, you can pile up books without them taking up too much space, on the E you can put magazines, with the cover turned towards the child, and he’ll have everything he needs to keep him busy right in front of him! For little ones, you can put paper and crayons on the desk top.
The Kazam desk is made in France, using plywood carrying the label PEFC, which gives a guarantee to the consumer that it is from a sustainable forest. The curved joins are in high quality brushed stainless steel and in painted steel. Very secure thanks to the two slightly slanted feet and jointed together. Easy to take care : use a rug and Windex on the stratified parts and a simple rug to dust off the wood parts.
