Agnès and Agnès are two architects who don’t only have their name in common. They met at college and obtained the same architecture diploma some years later. In 2005, they formed the partnership Agnès & Agnès Architecture. In order to respond to demands for design on a smaller scale, they also created Agnès & Agnès Design. Whether it’s architecture or design, the Agnès & Agnès concept remains the same; the basis of their work always has a fixed structure, to which they add an unpredictable touch by fitting on or overlapping square or rectangular elements, making the finished product playful and always functional, as well as beautiful, simple and highly visual. Colour and light is very important to these two architects; the materials used, the positioning of primary or bright colours, the use of Plexiglas, all allow them to achieve living spaces that are beautifully designed and pleasant to in.
