Lucky Boy Sunday
Quirky, funny, stylised, dream-like: these are the words that the two Danish designers Camilla and Camilla used when they launched their brand Lucky Boys Sunday. The two girls are very fond of strange characters and are inspired by Op'Art design, so they created a whole family of quirky and retro cuddly toys for their first collection. From Uncle Larry with his shock of hair to daredevil cousin Bob, via Nulle, the big brother with glasses ... you'll want to adopt one of the characters as soon as you see them! Knitted in baby alpaca, they're incredibly soft and cosy. Definitely to be carried around everywhere and preferably put to bed on some pretty cushions in the hut with the Harlequin roof!
Quote from Camilla&Camilla : "Back in 2007, when we started LUCKYBOYSUNDAY, we found a picture of Paul in a fancy magazine and took it with us. We placed it on the wall for inspiration. That photo was our guideline for every step we took from drawing our logo to creating the first collection.Whenever we got confused in style, we took a look at little Paul with the glasses, and then we just knew. To make a secret tribute to Little Paul, we designed the Nulle Doll for our Autumn-Winter 09 collection. A grey rabbit with glasses. By the way, Nulle is named after my dead and burried rabbit. But that's another story.."
