Once upon a time there was an ophthalmologic surgeon who was extremely surprised that there were no special sunglasses for children that offered proper protection from UV rays, as well as being cute and pretty. And so ZOOBUG was created, under the aegis of Dr. Julie Diem. Launched in 2006 and already available in over 20 countries, this innovative brand of sunglasses for children won the SILMO D’OR, an international optical prize.
