Behind this fun collection, there’s Yaz and Emel, two sisters who are princesses in the real sense of the term, as they are descendants of the Egyptian King Méhémet Ali. After they graduated from the Studio Berçot (where Emel now teaches), they worked for such influential designers as Martin Margiela, Givenchy and Jeremy Scott. Martine Sitbon et Gilles Rosier were so impressed with their range of accessories, Yazbukey, that they have designed a number of collections for them. Yazbukey is like diving into a parallel world in the style of Grimm, or where Tim Burton meets Hitchcock and Gershwin’s music would be mixed with Vincent Minelli. We absolutely love it!
