Silvery owls with embroidered feathers, a tiger masked with golden lights and sequined parrots. With Soft Gallery, the cut of the clothes may be simple, plain and comfortable, but it’s the detail of the embroidery and the sequins that make them completely different. Created by the designer, Time Holt and photographer and stylist, Barbara Hvidt, Soft Gallery is a Swedish brand that has a strong leaning towards the world of art. Each season, the designers ask artists to animate their collections with exclusive prints and motifs that will stimulate the imagination of the child. The 100% cotton fabrics are soft and lovely to wear, and the styles are easy to co-ordinate. Soft Gallery is actively involved in the fight against child labour in India; for each garment purchased, the designers donate a proportion towards the children’s home that they have formed in India which allows orphans and poor children to have a roof over their heads, a family and an education.
