Esther Loonen, who used to work as a stylist at Isabel Marant, casts an expert eye, that’s gentle and sophisticated, on childhood; whether it’s for her first collection or on herself, she creates a unique and unusual ‘look’, that’s perfectly harmonious in terms of its colours and its subtly structured shapes. The little clothes labelled Lili & TFB have a perfect finish, and are made from fabrics which are pretty as well as soft and lovely to wear. Esther creates amazing colour palettes, which are certainly influenced by her Nordic origins; you become captivated by the daring but definite sophistication of this collection...
