When you say the word Bensimon, you’re talking about comfort, authenticity and quality, but you’re also talking about a family history. At the beginning of the 50’s, when the consumer market as we know it today was just starting, Charles Bensimon (the grandfather), had the idea of importing American footwear and then customising it. The shoes very quickly become real fashion products. This success was the result of an enormous stock of white fabric tennis shoes, from American army surplus, dyed in a whole multitude of colours. And so, the famous Bensimon tennis shoe was born. Simple, comfortable and available in all shapes and colours, they continue to be worn by generation after generation.
