Once upon a time, there was a father and son, Jean-Michel and Julien. The father gave his son a deluxe pushchair for his first child and from then on there was a daily game of Tetris: don’t fold ‘the vehicle’ with the child in it, remove the seat and wheels to get it in the boot of the car, don’t use it in a lift or public transport … but Jean-Michel is a designer and full of energy and ideas. In 2006, the father and son joined forces to create the brand Babyzen and at last designed a folding pushchair that was functional as well as attractive and also adaptable. The Babyzen pushchair’s design also takes into consideration the future, the first to do so, and is put together with screws like a bike to make a framework that can easily be taken apart and recycled.
